Collina Plantation is a classic Greek Revival planter’s style “ cottage “ circa 1834-1835. It sits on top of a hill on 9 acres of grounds. On the top of the hill at the end of a winding driveway lined with giant old oak and  magnolia trees. All within walking distance of Port Gibson , where you may take a self guided tour of the town General U. S. Grant deemed  “too beautiful to burn “ in 1863. Enjoy the French library with books and magazines as well as the formal Victorian parlor for quiet relaxation or socializing with other guest. A full breakfast is served in the formal dining room.

There are two beautifully appointed guest rooms the Henry Hughes room and the Jane Stamps room , named for persons important in the history of Collina. Each room has a private entrance from the spacious rear gallery. Both have a private bath with  shower , antique furnishings and elaborate drapery treatments. Other amenities include hair dryers , locally handmade  soaps , clock radios , access to iron and ironing board , satellite TV with HBO , Showtime , and Movie Channel.

In order to provide our guest with the most tranquil and enjoyable experience possible , we regretfully cannot accept pets or children under 12. We are also a non- smoking facility. Smoking is allowed only outside. Rates for both rooms are:
